Tracey Willms Deane, a local visual artist and adult education teacher, makes Vision Boarding lots of fun, spirit-full, and easy. And the good news is that you don't need to feel "artistic". Tracey is an experienced facilitator and she’ll be taking us out of our “over-thinking” on a voyage of creative discovery!
As an artist with a background in Wellbeing, she will creatively coach you to find inspiring images - you don’t need to know in advance what will emerge! In fact, you might be very pleasantly surprised at what bubbles up to the surface!
Tracey will be our guide through a variety of processes to manifest our dreams into the visual world of form. Cutting out pictures from magazines and pasting them onto a board is a simple, powerful and effective way to help to bring our dreams to life. The boards become a constant visual reminder of what we’d would love to enjoy in our lives and by hanging them where we’ll see them daily, they act on the sub-conscious to actually become our reality!
All materials will be provided for this workshop.
Tracey is a certified 'Heal Your Life' workshop leader and has enjoyed leading many of these Vision Board workshops over the years. Her sculptural, printmaking and interactive works have been on show at many Quarry Arts Centre events as well as The Geoff Wilson Gallery, Printapalooza, PlantLab, Waitakaruru Sculpture Trail and the Kaipara Coast Sculpture Trail. She has led workshops at Te Kowhai Print Trust, The Quarry Arts Centre, Manawatu Polytech and NorthTec as well as at various Festivals around Northland. She was the owner of Tuatara Design Store, Bank Street from 2012 – 2019.
