Come along to a special bag making session with Gerri from Made with Love, the Artisan Affair & the Kaitaia Pop-Up Shop!

Gerri will bring along a range of different bag patterns, and work with you, offering guidance and inspiration to make your own!

Gerri does a lot of work with recycled denim from unwanted jeans, adding flair with colourful patterned fabric and neckties to create unique, durable and funky pieces.

According to the UN one pair of jeans takes 7,500 litres of water to make – a number that includes the water used to grow the cotton, make the denim and get the product shop-ready.

Anō Anō rescues denim from the opshops in town - which would otherwise have ended up in the landfill.

Denim is such a robust and wonderful natural textile - why not come along repurpose some jeans into a new bag?!
