Beltane Celebration

Seasonal Celebrations are being held at Anō Anō and throughout the community. We will do crafts suited to the season, and invite the sharing of stories about what this time of year means for us in our own lives, in the cultures we have come from, and in the changes we’ve noticed happening in nature.

At Beltane, the season is really alive. Flowers are everywhere and vegetables are starting to grow too. It’s a magical time, when fairy realms are very close, and our imaginations & creativity are strongest, as is the life in all of nature around us. Animals and plants are growing fast, making babies, and enjoying being alive too. It's a time for jumping over fires, dancing and being silly, playing outdoor games, and creating beautiful things!

So, if you’d like to do something special to mark this time, join us! We’ll be making animal masks, flower crowns, dancing a maypole, sharing stories, and finishing up with a shared kai. Bring a plate to share.
