Have you ever wanted to be a Crusader Knight? A Celtic warrior Queen? Or just to impress your friends at the next costume party or D&D session?

Come and learn a little piece of European cultural heritage - chainmail! Learn about its Celtic origins, and the way it was made back before we had handy rolls of wire on the shelf at Mitre 10. Discover the capabilities and limits of a chain shirt. Learn to make your own chain links, and the basic 4 in 1 European pattern that's the foundation of most chainmail shirts, gloves, and coifs.

Bring 2 pairs of pliers (shortnose if you have them, but any will do).

We run on funding and donations, and would appreciate a suggested koha of $10-15 to cover facilitator time and supplies.
