About the event
Make use of the sewing machines, overlockers, big cutting table and plenty of supplies we have available for the community. Bring your own sewing, mending, or upcycling project, or work on something from our selection of projects! Come and go as suits you, this is a casual, social time to connect with others, unwind and get creative!
We use donated clothing and fabrics which were destined for landfill to create upcycled clothing and other creative items. We then sell them at the EcoCentre or to local businesses looking for alternatives to disposable items. We use the funds to help with Anō anō and the EcoCentre's running costs.
