About the event
Once upon a time, our clothing was uniquely ours - a symbol of personal origins, beliefs, ways of life, individuality, and personality.
But fast fashion and the bulk production of cookie cutter clothes has changed all of that.
Embroidery has made a comeback in recent years, particularly with young radicals looking to break free from colonial and capitalist molds - and why not start with the clothes we wear?
Come add embroidery to your arty repertoire. Beginners encouraged. Let's head over to the park & stitch under a tree if the weather is nice.
