Week 2: Hand Sewing & Embroidery

Discover the relaxing and creative art of sewing by hand in the second workshop of Cath’s beginner sewing series.

During this three-hour session, Cath will guide you through essential hand-sewing techniques and introduce you to a selection of practical and decorative embroidery stitches. You’ll have plenty of time to practise each stitch before using your new skills to begin a small embroidered piece of your own.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, as well as anyone who would like to refresh their hand-sewing skills or explore embroidery in a friendly, supportive environment. You do not need to have attended Week 1 to join this class.
