Haere mai ki Anō Anō and learn from Waikarere as she shows us her technique of making rag rugs from tshirt string!
Waikarere plaits together strips cut from old tshirts, weaving as she goes. There are heaps of ways of making rag rugs, and this is one of the faster methods!
Bring along any old tshirts you can find, and we'll have some here too if you can't find any.
Come along from 3pm, and we're open till 7, so you can stay and make you rug for as long as you like once you've learned the technique!
