The opening of Goodbye Normal Jeans was a roaring success. The event started with a Karakia led by Waikarere and the Exhibition was blessed. Nancy and Lyn welcomed everyone and thanked all the helpers. The items on the exhibition are wonderful, the skill and passion that goes into the artworks, bags and other creations. I would recommend a visit to Anō Anō on Bank street to see this Exhibition before it closes.
The Exhibition runs Monday to Saturday from 7th December until 24th Dec 10am to 2pm.
Weekly workshops are being run by volunteers each week. Denim Flower Making with Lyn on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday - pop in anytime and ask for to be shown how to make denim flowers.
