Our Timebank member Ken Spence is offering this popular workshop again on Saturday 29th March at Ano Ano, Bank Street Kaitaia from 2-4pm. Spaces are limited to please RSVP quick!
Learn how to create a simple Emergency Compost Toilet with Ken who has loads of experience in making and using them! Recent events have shown us that we need different ways to cope in times of power cuts, water shortages etc. Having the ability to use a compost toilet when the power is out, when a storm hits or during a water shortage, is a useful skill to have. It's easier than you may think!
Ken will explain how to make and use a simple bucket toilet, with the option of a urine separator (available to buy at the event and online at a discounted rate for workshop attendees) and how to manage the waste collected.
It's easy and effective. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and much more.
