It was a sunny day today with lots of foot traffic for our last Mending Morning/Repair Café of 2022 in Kaitāia!
Mike from the barbershop next door stopped by to get his scissors sharpened, and was keen to see the process of how other tools get sharpened, too. Pascal was kept pretty busy with sharpening a few more tools,
Jatinder helped fix Anō Anō's leaking water jug, and Merryn had a kōrero with someone having some trouble with an upholstery project. She left feeling more confident of what tactic to use to get the job done!
We're taking a break for December, but we will be back 28 January from 11-1, at Anō Anō - The Upcycle Space.
Koha or timecredits are welcome in exchange for repairs, but not required.
All Timebankers are welcome to just come for a cuppa even if you don't have anything that needs repairing!
