Whangaroa-Kerikeri rohe is buzzing

Kia ora e te Timebank whānau,

These will be the Timebank happenings and offerings in your area

  • Kerikeri's first Crop Swap this coming Saturday 27 Jan, 3 - 4 pm and from here on every 4th Saturday of the month 3 - 4 pm at Māra Tui (Kerikeri Organics)

  • Kaeo's Crop Swap on Sunday 4 Feb, 3 - 4 pm and every 1st Sunday of the month henceforth

  • Wednesday 7 Feb I'll be at Cherry Park House 12 - 4 pm for all things Timebank and from 1 pm to 3 pm (possibly a bit longer) we'll have another amazing workshop. If you always wanted to find out what Integral Theory or Integral Life and Ken Wilber is all about, do join this workshop. Details in the event description * 2 Timecredits from TTT members toward Timebank * $10-20 sliding scale from non-members as koha for event facilitation and material

  • I'll be at the Procter Library this coming Thursday 26 Jan and available for Timebank questions after my meeting there with a 'very cool local organisation' that I hope will join our TTT family. So come and find me between 10 and 11 am at the library!

People's Health Alliance Waipapa-Kerikeri soon to join Timebank. People's Food and Farming Alliance, PFFA Kaeo, now a new member on Timebank! We can't wait to create some Timebank magic with these new organisations

Who are they? They organising, creating co-ops, networks for food resilience, paddock to plate in support of health + community hubs, through wholesome food and education around how to grow it.

We'll do a presentation in one of their next nation wide zoom meetings, I'll keep you posted.

Remember the Roundhouse building workshop from the last blog?

Check out what these awesome people have been building so far - will report on Timecredit exchanges for this project next time.... hashtag #community !

What an amazing skill to learn! Make sure you join the next phase, talk to Jo and Amira and/or to Marty how you can join by using your Timecredits!

Thank you Sandy for the beautiful header image of their abundant crops in Kaeo's community gardens. I get a feeling we'll be seeing an abundance of "Sustainable Food Production" happening in our rohe this year 2024

Remember to email / message me or 021 149 8656 (make sure to txt your name and TTT member number in your message) for any questions. And as I said earlier, come for a meet and greet or any questions you may have and see me at the Procter Library Kerikeri between 10 and 11 am this Thursday 26 Jan !

Ngā mihi aroha
