Some EVENTS still happening ! Update as per 8-Apr 2024
Kia ora, dear Timebank friends,
I'll copy what Board member and Transition Town Member, Asha Anderson, wrote to our
wider community:
"Kia Ora friends,
I hope this email finds you well... but the reality is, things are not always great are they?
Life throws us all kinds of curve balls! Like the one I am about to share...
Our very good friend Di Maxwell, who many of you will know, has had to unexpectedly cancel the April Resilience Month events, due to her husband Jack being in a serious motorcycle accident earlier this week. Di and family are at Jack's side down in Auckland, and we are all praying for his recovery from a very traumatic accident. Resilience Month will have to wait as more important things must take precedence. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jack, Di and their family at this time. 🙏♥️
Thank you to everyone who was planning to be involved in Resilience Month, it will be picked up again in the future when the time is right."
Here below is the original blog - and the correct event details.
You didn't really think that autumn might slow things down here in your beautiful area? Have a look at what Far North Resilient Communities CT have put together for this community.
With quite some chaos, economic downturn, astrological forecasts and relatively high levels of fear out there, it is up to organisations like ours to keep reminding people that 'Resilience is an inside Job' and that within our communities we've got everything we need to stay calm, healthy and balanced. If you haven't recently, please do check out the offers on Timeoverflow .
So here is April's programme for you (keep checking with event organisers, as things might change last minute) - do attend as many of the events as you can, you'll love
the new (and old) learning, and most likely will meet some pretty cool people, too.

Have you considered for your organisation to become a Timebank member?
That's all for now, Ngā mihi aroha Barbara
